MURAL WALLCOVERINGS COLLECTION
What are Mural Wallcoverings and how are they made?
Mural wallcoverings are panelled designs, printed digitally in order to create 3 different panels on one roll - that look like a dramatic mural or big picture when hung together.
Mural wallcoverings create interest and drama that bring a unique sense of style to any room. Its a great way to achieve the feel of an expensive hand-painted mural for less time and investment. These mural wallcoverings have been painstakingly developed to the finest detail and are all originally hand-painted by Georgette Sunderland.
It's quite the challenge to design panels that look like one large, hand-painted, continuous mural on only one roll of paper! It takes many hours overseeing the design processes to ensure that every panel meets and joins perfectly, the rhythm of the design is natural and not contrived when it repeats.
The wallcovering is printed onto 'eco non-woven' paper through one of many specialist quality digital printers at Surface Print, one of the most established makers of fine grade wallpapers in the UK. The quality of non-toxic, water based, very low VOC inks, paper thickness (from sustainable FSC accredited sources) and specialist finishes are second to none.
Please see below the eco credentials of my wallcoverings, as I am very proud to say that paper I am using is made from 99% renewable raw materials and recyclable in your cardboard/paper bin for any off-cuts you may have after hanging your gorgeous wallcovering.
Introducing the new mural wallcovering Spring Tonic by Beautiful by George
This is an illustration of a full repeat of the wallcovering 'Spring Tonic', shown in the colourway 'Morning Mist'.
This is 1 roll (1005cm long), divided into 3 panels (335cm x 70cm each) that together make one full repeat of the uninterrupted design (210cm wide).
If the area you wish to decorate is wider than 210cm then you will need to purchase more than one roll. Each new panel continues the design naturally, no matter how many you use in succession.
